Findlay Implement Company is a John Deere Agricultural and Consumer Products dealer that provides sales, parts, and service. We also compliment the Deere line with other allied products such as Krause, Great Plains, Kuhn and more.

We employ a sales staff, parts personnel, and service technicians at each of our 7 facilities throughout Northwest Ohio.

John Deere Tech at Owens Community College

This major is designed to develop technically competent, professional agricultural equipment service technicians. Students receive state-of-the-art technical education on the latest John Deere equipment through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory instruction and supervised occupational work experience at FIC dealerships.

Agricultural Equipment Technology at UNOH

The job responsibilities of agricultural equipment service technicians are becoming more complex as more electronic components control the operations of tractors and combines. Today’s agricultural equipment technician is required to have training in computer technology, electronically controlled hydraulics, global positioning systems, and ground navigational electronics. The days of working on your equipment with only simple hand tools are a thing of the past.

UNOH has Associate and Diploma programs in Agricultural Equipment Technology that will provide the foundation for your career and each of our instructors brings real world experience to the classroom from years in the field.
